Strength Training
All the staff at Advanced Fitness and Performance have 4-year college degrees and are certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist or the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist.
As we grow older, many of our problems are caused by lack of muscle strength. To progress muscular strength, our clients work in a 4-6 rep range so muscles can adapt and grow stronger. In the strength and conditioning world, this repetition range is called a Strength Range. Research tells us that strength is the number one concern for the aging population, the injured, and the rehabilitated. We evaluate the clients’ needs, goals, and abilities using a scientific approach to develop a safe training plan to deliver top results for all ages and ability levels.
